Ronald Reagan was not only committed to ensuring freedom in the US, but also to advancing freedom across the globe. When speaking of Bulgaria, he reminded us that, no matter where, The violation of human rights
is the rightful cause of all free peoples. It is a privilege to partner with freedom-loving Bulgarians who seek to honor this legacy in a country transformed by the commitment of leaders like Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher, and Pope John Paul II to turn back the tide of Communism and totalitarianism. I trust that this impressive statue in the heart of Sofia will encourage future generations to consider Ronald Reagans example and follow his lead, stated Andrew Coffin, director of the Reagan Ranch and vice president of Young Americas Foundation.

Ouch. The truth hurts.
That’s an amazing likeness. They really captured the true spirit of Reagan in that sculpture. You almost expect him to speak.
Good thing that Reagan statue isn’t in New Orleans.
The democrat hate mongers would be hauling it off to the dump with other historical monuments.
Ain’t that the truth...
In Kenya, Kenyans have erected a statue of Barrack Obama as a signpost to the nation’s largest garbage dump.
Bulgaria’s right of center electorate are to be applauded for recognizing Ronald Reagan’s role in delivering their country from brutal Communist rule (between 1946 - 1990) which murdered 220,000 Bulgarian citizens after WW2.
Incredibly, the Bulgarian Communist / Socialist party is still popular and barely lost the National elections on March 2017.
Bulgaria is dying - it holds the distinction of having the world’s longest negative population growth since 1989.
It’s population of 7 Million is expected to be 3.4 Million by the end of the century.
