I have no doubt that back channel encrypted conversations are going on behind the scenes to handle “media” and WH and Flynn. Probably working in the basement of Obama’s house.

The chat was supposedly among members of the intel community. As a Senator, I don’t know that McCain would be considered as such. Also, would McCain have the tech savvy to use encrypted communication apps? They may be simple to use these days, but I don’t know that he’s even that handy with modern tech.
If it can be shown that members of the US government are actively opposing the actions of the legally elected administration, what are the ramifications?
At the very least, sedition I would guess. But could that also be called treason? Technically, treason requires working with a hostile government. But what about working with a hostile ousted-government, by and with former and current officials?

I would love it if Trump and those close to him would concoct a false policy narrative, and give/send a memo to several suspected leakers...with some very carefully crafted difference in each suspected leaker’s memo. That way, when the narrative found its way into the news, they’d immediately know who leaked it. Then arrest the bastard, and show him/her being perp-walked out of the White House by U.S. Marshals. Then get that person to turn on their puppet-master and fellow conspirators by threatening to ask for the very harshest possible penalties.
Trapping someone like this cannot be that hard, especially with the cooperation of a known-to-be-loyal intelligence operative. It is past time for this to occur - the rot has to be cleaned out, with prejudice.

I think FR needs a new rule: If an article you want to post does not have solid sources, don't waste the time of your fellow FReepers. Don't post it.
This would seem to sow that there are groups within the Intelligence agencies who are fabricating scandals and the evidence to “support” them.
