Removing Trump Won’t Solve America’s Crisis (The elites are the problem.)
The American Conservative ^ | May 18,2017 | Robert W. Merry

Thus is the Trump crisis now superimposed upon the much broader and deeper crisis of the elites, which spawned the Trump crisis in the first place. Yes, Trump is a disaster as president. He lacks nearly all the qualities and attributes a president should have, and three and a half more years of him raises the specter of more and more unnecessary tumult and deepening civic rancor. It could even prove to be untenable governmentally. But trying to get rid of him before his term expires, absent a clear constitutional justification and a clear assent from the collective electorate, will simply deepen the crisis, driving the wedge further into the raw American heartland and generating growing feelings that the American system has lost its legitimacy.

There is no way out for America at this point. Steady as she goes could prove highly problematic. A push to remove him could prove worse. Perhaps a solution will present itself.

But, even if it does, it will rectify, with great societal disquiet and animosity, merely the Trump crisis. The crisis of the elites will continue, all the more intractable and ominous.

Hopefully, we are keeping track of all those “safe places” where the elites plan to bunk up when the next crisis happens.

We then have them in concentrated places. Vulnerable places.

Places where the mother of all bombs would love to be.

May they not rest in peace.

I stopped reading after that line. Anything of substance in the remainder of the screed, or did I save myself a couple minutes of hot air?

Yes, Trump is a disaster as president. He lacks nearly all the qualities and attributes a president should have...

Like keeping his campaign promises in an atmosphere of a full assault by our "free" left wing press and Hollywood. Even George Washington would have been crushed in this circus.

Ross Douthat, the conservative New York Times columnist, even suggests the elites of Washington should get rid of Trump through the use of the Constitution’s 25th Amendment, which allows for the removal of the president if a majority of the cabinet informs the Congress that he is “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office” and if a two-thirds vote of Congress confirms that judgment in the face of a presidential challenge.

And this would lead to a Civil War. The legitimacy of the the US Government would been destroyed. And Congressmen would be hanging from lamp posts before it is over.

“Yes, Trump is a disaster as president.”
That’s why the Saudis showed Obama so much respect after he bowed to their king and showed such little respect to {res. Trump on his arrival. (snark)

Reports are they are giving 100 million to the Ivanka woman’s empowerment fund.

It is such an odd thing for them to do given how they treat women.

Trump is supremely unfit for his White House job.

As opposed to Obama, who was, according to all of these idiots, somehow eminently qualified.

This is all so tiresome.

The Trump victory constituted a political revolution.

Now comes the counterrevolution.

The empire strikes back.

If we cannot recognize the “enemies domestic” nature of these CLoward/Piven Alinskyites and begin to marginalize their efforts we may soon have a Civil War on our hands. As horrific as war is the lesson from history seems to me is that the horror of war only becomes more horrific when inappropriately delayed.

Removing Trump Won’t Solve America’s Crisis (The elites are the problem.)

Those that want to illegally remove the duly elected President of The United States are not the least bit interested in solving America's problems.

This impeachment talk has been going on since November 9th. I guess everyone thinks we’ve forgotten about the uniparty and the left’s hysteria, crying, rioting, law suits, recounts, etc.
They’re f***king out of their minds because DJT was elected, they really will not accept it and in less than five months of this man’s Presidency they’ve gotten their special council. Add that to the courts over stepping their constitutional bounds on an EO travel ban that was fine for every other President to enact, and Republicans sitting on their hands or actively working against DJT. Then they wanna turn around and tell us how ineffective the POTUS is and how it’s a “circus” in his administration. Yea sure.
If there is anything that demonstrates how correct DJT was in calling the entire establishment the swamp, it’s their actions since he took the oath of office.
