The CEO of Hallmark made the following comment. “The current winds of culture say that this is okay now. We will follow these winds wherever they lead us. There is no other standard by which we make our marketing decisions. Culture and money are our Gods.”
I ran into the top “family” guy there a couple times, many years ago.
I was sitting at a red light, about to park at the building when a $120,000 Lamboghini Countach pulled up to the light next to me. I mentioned it to one of my customers and they suggested it might have been the CEO.
Might be a more common sight in other cities but not where their home office is.
