And that’s what makes so many of us Trump-voters so happy with the President.

I don’t see anything unusual in this pic. Neither one looks like the media says.

aware of the Pope’s relentless pro-Communism,

No disrespect meant for the office of Pontiff, but

whenever I hear the name Francis associated with a male, I can not help but think of

Francis the talking Mule.

I was first exposed to Liberation Theology when I lived in NM back in the 1970’s. I saw the surrogates of the Sandanista’s visiting in NM, stirring up the leftist pot. I also met and listened later to members of the Contra Forces in Nicaragua.

It was an education.

When I saw that Obama’s preacher was a Black Liberation Theology proponent, the Klaxon alarms sounded in my head.

Liberation Theology is Marxism in a very thin religious wrapper.

Jesuit priests like the current Pope have that history.

I am not Catholic, but I do have family members who are. I’ve had very close Catholic friends and fellow employees. We had many discussions of this over the years. There are multiple elements of the Catholic Church. Liberation Theology was not acceptable to previous Popes.

Flame wars are nonsense. I refused to enter them here. We have enough real enemies to fight to waste time in arguments about positions we don’t agree on. FR is an great community.

President Trump is one of those rare human beings who speak truth to power, whatever the roadblocks and personal hardship it costs. The leaders of the EU, the Pope, and their Deep State counterparts in the US cannot tolerate their motives and policies being defied.

The message from this meeting: The whole world is thrilled for a giant of a man who speaks against the Forces of Evil. Except the Forces of Evil.

Next step: I'm disappointed that the traitorous swampthings within the administration, some of them brought in by Trump, haven't already been hauled away in handcuffs and charged with treason. The coup cannot be stopped until this occurs. It's already taken too much time.

Jeeez, so what. A lot of us Catholics aren't happy with the Pope. I think the Pope is a good man but in the WRONG job.

I don't recall the media being too concerned with Pope Benedict's opinions. Of course Benedict wanted to undo some of the damage and heresy of Vatican II which is why he had to go.

I would hope that Trump told the little Guacamolean Marxist a bunch of things that did not make him happy.

I am still trying to figure out why the College of Cardinals voted this guy in. If only he would follow in Benedict’s footsteps and resign/retire and make room for a better, “more Catholic” if you will, Pope.

What I took from the body language in the videos is that the Pope felt shame and guilt when he was actually face-to-face with Mr. Trump; the Pope was intimidated by Trump’s large physical presence (asking Melania “What do you give him to eat, pastry?”) and was caught off guard by Trump’s noted positive attitude and gracious behavior as a guest in an honored institution. He even stood slightly behind Trump when the photos were taken—instead of elbowing him aside and pushing himself to the front (sarc).
