OTOH, there is obviously a limit to how many people the planet can support.
I don’t claim to have the “correct” answer to the problem, but I can definitely tell you what is a bad idea. It’s a bad idea to punish responsible people for having children (tax, tax, tax), causing them to have very few children while at the same time rewarding irresponsible people for having children (welfare, foreign aid, etc, etc, etc.) which encourages them to breed like rabbits.

No. Sadly there would be no escape. Everyone would have to become a Jags fan - or have to pretend to be one. And there won't be enough Beach Road Chicken to go around.

They prefer recruiting to reproducing. Reproducing costs a lot of money. Recruiting does too, but for that they can use OPM.
