Rush Limbaugh follows up on his suggestion to stop watching the news and how doing so has improved his mood.
"I don’t know how many of you have taken up my suggestion. It was not a command. It was not an order. It was a suggestion. Just turn off the news, ’cause there isn’t any news anymore, just turn it off. I have going on now 10 days, you know, two five day weeks," Limbaugh said before he dove into his monologue.
Not the Democrats, folks. Who was the first to tell you…? Remember how revolutionary an idea you thought it was? Who was the first to tell you that Democrat Party’s an afterthought now? Electorally, it hardly exists. They keep losing elections. But they’re not running the left anymore. The media is. That’s the engine, the fuel and the engine. They’re the ones mounting this hit squad, not the Democrats. The Democrats are just along for the ride.

I know I don't watch network news. Not even Fox News. But Rush MUST watch or read 24/7 to stay informed. If he's smart he does what I do.

Free Republic is the only place to go to stay current on the news and read insightful commentary on said news.
We savor the victory but it is certainly nothing to take for granted, the struggle goes on.
I do all I can to boycott the propaganda of the left and democrats.
Don’t watch them, don’t pay for their newspapers and don’t visit their web sites.
No one in my family does either.
And mock the fake news every chance you get.

We basically only watch Lou Dobbs on FOX Business and OAN (One America News Network) since it became available for free on DirecTV NOW, which is AT&T’s over the internet live broadcast service.
I haven’t watched a network news broadcast in over 20 years. I used to watch Fox News at 6 but haven’t watched them in over a year. I can find out what I need to know online...especially of Free Republic.

Trump's election was just a first step.
Yeah that's true. Drudge will post a major news item and BOOM! It'll get FReeped here 4 or 5 times in less than 10 minutes.
It was a very good, very timely first step too, I must admit.
A Hillary Clinton presidency frightens me to even contemplate, so I’m very happy that America elected Trump.
But the left isn’t ever going to stop. On its own.
Free people cannot coexist with the likes of them. They are an existential threat.

American voters saved the country in 2016, but no thanks to you, you paragon of “neutrality.” If American voters had listened to Limbaugh during the primary, we’d have had Cruz as our Republican candidate facing a then unbeatable Clinton/media machine. Along with avoiding the news, not listening to Limbaugh’s self-congratulatory bilge has also been a refreshing change. I’m pretty sure I’ve got a lot of company in that regard.
I just subscribed to OANN with a free trial on KlowdTV.
I must say, what I've seen so far is superb.
A couple of times, between segments, when the ads woiuld normally be playing, I've seen brief videos which explain and summarize a specific topic for viewers.
In the case I'm referring to, it was a synopsis of America's immigration laws, including an act passed by Congress in 1952 (or thereabouts). The commercial-length segment went into detail explaining the law, its intent, and the fact that it was supported by both parties, I believe.
It was a total breath of fresh air, and a prime example the kind of thing you'd expect a real news network to do: educate and inform viewers, helping them recognize the lies which are spewed by the Ministry of Propaganda in service of the Establishment and Democrats (but I repeat myself).
So OANN gets a big "thumbs up" from me. I predict it will become a major "mainstream" conservative outlet soon...
“Tipping Point” with Liz Wheeler is especially good on OAN.

Even my Yahoo browser is so anti Trump they never post positive new items on anything he does. ALL negative!
If Rush was neutral like you said why would we have had Cruz? A little contradiction don’t you think
