I just can’t envision the Russians doing this and leaving tracks that can be traced back, unless of course they wanted to be found. IMO, it’s more likely another federal agency did the hacking and made it look like the Russians. There were reports from states prior to the election indicating DHS was probing their systems that stored voter rolls.

No .... they are merely a headhunter outfit. This dummy’s resume of having a prior clearance in the military made her low hanging “qualified” fruit to feed a needy alphabet agency .... her background investigation was then either updated and reactivated if it was still current (5 years) after her discharge from the service. ...

The un-funny part is security clearances are also done by contractors versus “goobermint” employees..... sort of a Vlad cleared Nastasha joke.

True. But when she got into Detroit she was finding actual vote fraud. Boxes of votes, the paperwork read 300, when they opened them they found 50. Their first ruling was, since the discrepancy is too large, we have to accept the original count as valid... (yes, that’s what they said...) When they kept finding obvious miscounts on that level, 300 versus 50 in box after box, (in Hillary’s favor of course) a judge shut it down. No investigation.

The precinct guy said, it was an honest mistake. End of story. No further investigation or reporting.

How easy for our enemies to get clearance. Join the military and then proceed to destroy the country. Boggles the sane mind.

Remember that attempted hacks of Georgia’s election system were attributed to US government agencies.

Also about the same time Arizona detected an attempt to hack in. Right after that one of our US government agencies offered to "help" us to recover. Our Secretary of State told them that there was an attempt to hack in, but it didn't work. She declined their help.

Secrets in general are time sensitive for the most part. Really the only program I see lacking these days is the simple “need to know” ..... way to much access. Look at it as a “Publius Horatius Cocles” securing the only door to your home. Add more doors and the task of securing your home becomes more difficult. Limit access, restrict number of copies, etcetera ..... “doors” per se.

Reminds me of that tinfoiler Louis? Mensch who one election had conservatives giving her money to investigate and bring suits concerning the Diebold machines, then the following election she scammed the folks at Democratic Underground for thousands of dollars with the same bullshiess and made off with the money without doing a thing.
For a while there they were eating up every article she posted.

Seems to me it could be possible to have these machines get a factory update

Theoretically correct.

The only thing that matters is how the count is recorded, no matter how they are counted.

Did they say if it was George Soros’ voting software company? I bet it was, and I bet he LEFT THE DOOR OPEN for them!

If local officials have so much power over the voting systems that agent gaining control of tier computers could effect the outcome of any vote.

Then I would be far more concerned about the local officials who actually have a definitive and consistent motive to tamper with their own local election using the same systems than the Russians.

The Russians would have to successfully and covertly carry out thousands of similarly operations commandeering local official machines on a wide variety of very different systems to have any effect they might find desirable.

At this point I am prepared to believe at best they might of helped exposed the corruption of the Democratic party and the media, and for that we owe them nothing more than a thank you. Its certainly not worth a public investigation.

The DNC should pay for their own investigation and cyber security, or just as well not practice corruption in the first place. Same goes for the corrupt news Media.
