James Comey just tossed a match on Washington, D.C., and the ensuing inferno will rage all summer.
The former FBI directors statement reads like a political thriller, with secretive meetings, treacherous innuendo and hints of cold, calculated corruption.
When the door by the grandfather clock closed, and we were alone, the President began by saying, I want to talk about Mike Flynn, reads Comeys statement.
I hope you can see your way clear to letting this go, to letting Flynn go. He is a good guy. I hope you can let this go.
The Flynn scene will be the focus of the 20-person panels on CNN for the next four months. Buy stock in the terms obstruction of justice and abuse of power.

Was that thing the break he cut McCabe which was to be reciprocated by Comey in laying off Team Trump?
Stay tuned for the sequel: Bob Mueller, special counsel.
Dime store novel.

The statement that some Senator needs to make to Comey but won’t: “Regarding whether Trump was under investigation, all he was asking you to do was to tell the truth, but you refused.”
1. How can anyone possibly make the case for obstruction of justice based on a conversation between two people where the one who is reporting about the contents of the conversation -- who happened to be the FBI director at the time -- didn't believe it was any such thing?
2. When this conversation was taking place, the person who was the subject of the conversation (Mike Flynn) wasn't even the target of a criminal investigation. How can someone obstruct justice when the person in question is not involved in a legal proceeding in the first place?
How can CNN and Democrats make a mountain from a molehill?
The FBI leadership team had read the memos, report Comey, and McCabe already testified that there was “no effort to impede.” Case closed.
They may try to make a mountain out of a molehill for political purposes, but I'm sure we'll start seeing talking heads on CNN calling for Trump's impeachment on the grounds that he should have fired Comey sooner.
there has to be some context as to the linearity of it to prove he dint just make it up last month out of whole cloth, which i'm betting there isn't and that he did
Comey has made a “uge” mistake. He now believes that he is a “kingmaker.”
Soon Comey will swim with the fishes, for Washington always summarily rejects a traitor. Comey has betrayed both Democrats and Republicans, but now seeks to perpetuate the myth that President Trump is impeachable.
All of this is designed to obstruct the presidents legislative agenda. And Ryan seems to be simply treading water, a very bad thing.
Why are any of these hearings or investigations going forward when Mueller is on the job? Drop the charade, do the work you were sent there to do and leave this to the professionals.
McCain sure did a lulu of a job today, didn’t he? He was out in left field when the game had already concluded...
