Comey also said that he was disturbed that the President repeatedly raised the issue of his wanting to keep his job and interpreted it as a sign that the President hoped to get something in return. He also revealed the words that Trump whispered in his ear, when the President summoned him across the room on camera at a reception at the White House shortly after the inauguration.
"What the President whispered in my ear was, 'I really look forward to working with you.'"

Comey is a nose picker and Trump hates nose pickers.
That’s why you were fired, Mr. Comey.

Comey said he took particular exception to White House claims that the FBI was in disarray and that it was poorly led and had lost confidence in his leadership. "Those were lies, plain and simple, and I am so sorry that the FBI workforce had to hear them, and I am so sorry that the American people were told them," I think not. Comey has no credibility.

President Trump as a CEO at his company has always demanded loyalty...
As he said:
“IF you have one person that is not loyal to you or the company, it ruins the company and the people working for you”
This is what LOYALTY means to Our President...Comey has not idea what loyalty is because he has never had it...

To me it sounds like someone got fired and is crying about it.
Not many people get fired and say yes it was my fault. I screwed up. Instead they make excuses. Also many people get fired all of the sudden. They thought they were doing a great job but in reality they weren’t. And it’s not like you’re going to tell the guy hey I’m firing you next week (not in a political or powerful positions). Like a CEO getting released or a CFO. You just have to fire them.

I think he had it out for Trump as soon as he won the presidency. Seems to me he could be the guy the democrats (Hillary’s people) thought could bring Trump down.

Defamation by a public official is a civil tort not easily proven in court. It does however work in a pathetic Senate hearing and in the mainstream democrat media.
Comey used the word on purpose, and needs to be grilled on it. His handling of the Clinton matter was pathetic. The “Russian” probe has more unprofessional and possibly illegal leaks than the USS Minnow. His actions since being fired are also pathetic. His connections with Clapper (a known liar) are troubling.

"poorly led and had lost confidence in his leadership"
Comey's statements are just more evidence of the extreme mental and moral corruption of DC and our national life. Comey makes all kinds of wild assertions.
President Trump does not "lie" if he reports his OPINION and his JUDGMENT that the FBI is "poorly led" and that he has "lost confidence" in Comey's leadership. Those are opinions and judgments. Comey can disagree with them, of course, but it is not a "lie" for a POTUS to say he thinks someone is doing a bad job or is showing poor leadership.
Ofc it is *possible* for someone to lie about their own opinion (say you like the dessert served by the hostess when you really hate it) but in general it is simply incorrect to call someone's sincere assertion of their opinion a "lie."
