Anybody who was currently brought here illegally as a minor should be given a chance at citizenship as long as they are drug free and no criminal activity.
Give them 12 months to apply with the condition no federal bennies will be allowed. If you don’t apply in 12 months you are deported. No ifs ands or buts...must learn English and pass a general knowledge test.
The ones that really want to live here will apply and be self sufficient, there is no downside to that.
That takes a liberal point off the table and cleans up at least part of the immigration issue.

Anyone who knew Kelly’s background with the Florida bimbo he allowed to have free reign on the base would NEVER hire him to be in the Cabinet. Kelly is a totally unqualified dirtbag. The person who should have been running DHS is Kris Kobach who actually believes in enforcing immogration law.
This isnt the first time Kelly has said to legalize illegals. He keeps begging congress to do it. Who the hell authorized him to speak to congress about what policy should be?

Pretty much the complete opposite of why a lot of people voted for Trump and enabled Kelly to assume the Secretary of DHS, position.

He could be. But he is taking a big chance publicly recommending a policy the opposite of a trump campaign promise.

But, also, there needs to be some clarification as to who the “Dreamers” are. Is it some 13yr old, that showed up here within the last 8yrs, under obama, with no background information, thrown into a home and is not in, MS13 bootcamp?
Or, is it some kid that is finishing high school and plans on joining the Army or Marine Corps, to serve this country?
I see a lot of activists that want to bring up, adults that have careers and families and are doing it right, as “Dreamers”, who are afraid to get sent back. Sorry, but if you’ve made it this far, are a productive member of society and are doing the right thing, then I don’t know anyone that wants to put you in the same category as the MS13 recruit.
However, Birthright citizenship and benefits, stop. No IF’s, ANDs, BUTs...about it.
Dreamers have reaped hundreds of thousands of benefits from US taxpayers that didn’t belong to them. But the least we can do is send them home so they can apply what they have learned in bettering their own countries.
There is no reason not to enforce immigration law with everyone.
