It’s FEAR.
It is known that the former occupant was surveilling a presidential candidate and his entire building! They were blatantly violating laws. It can easily be assumed based on other known violations of privacy that the previous occupant has amassed a whole lot of information on a whole lot of people. A lot of people have a lot to hide.
See my post #20, which only scratches the surface of the allegations out there. If they are motivated by fear, why wouldn’t they want to shut this down? Why keep raising the temperature? I wonder if they started something and lost control over it, e.g. the Bernie faction thinks they are doing the right thing going after Trump but in fact are only digging a deeper hole for the establishment.
