Megyn Kelly removed as host of Sandy Hook event after Alex Jones interview

Megyn Kelly will no longer host a gala for the Sandy Hook Promise Foundation after backlash over her upcoming interview with InfoWars conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.
Sandy Hook Promise — which was founded by family members of some of the victims of the 2012 Sandy Hook shooting — announced Monday that Kelly would no longer be hosting the annual Promise Champions Gala scheduled for Wednesday in Washington, D.C.
Kelly is facing backlash for her upcoming interview with Jones, a noted conspiracy theorist who believes the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting was a hoax and says 9/11 was an inside job.
“Sandy Hook Promise cannot support the decision by Megyn or NBC to give any form of voice or platform to Alex Jones and have asked Megyn Kelly to step down as our Promise Champion Gala host,” Nicole Hockley, co-Founder and Managing Director of the organization said in a statement.

She is so driven to get more and more attention that she doesn’t even stop to think. She’d do anything to promote herself.

I watch him on Youtube sometimes, but I’m not a fan of his. He’s a 9/11 truther and lies a lot. However, outrageous people have been interviewed by news people forever.

Kelly is getting absolutely hammered on Twitter. People pledging to boycott her MSNBC show. First Putin made her look like a fool and now this Alex Jones self-inflicted gunshot wound has exposed her as self promoting, anything for ratings, shallow, callous hack.
