Sounds bad. They hijacked motorists, took off in their car. Condition of motorists unknown.
Putnam County is southeast of Atlanta, near South Carolina.

Hope they are captured before next election...2 less democrat votes.

Some criminals are so narcissistic that they are as likely to kill you or not as they are likely to step on an ant or not.

The escaped inmates are Donnie Russell Rowe of middle Tennessee and Ricky Dubose of Madison County, Georgia, officials said. They were both prisoners at Baldwin State Prison.
They’ve got two (2) Glock .40-cal pistols, taken from the dead guards.

Dangerous beyond
description?
Then I suppose they were handled like this (if not then why?):

Perhaps the danger level was elevated after their escape once they shot cops and then acquired weapons

Donnie Rowe is serving LWOP for armed robbery.
The prosecutor who put him away described him as “a monster.”

I suppose.
Anyone want to guess whether these guys are taken alive?
(my guess: no)

My inclination would be to shoot them on sight. Wanted dead or alive style.

Anyone want to guess whether these guys are taken alive? (my guess: no) Depends on if they (the bad guys) run out of ammo.

ON a side note: “Monster” was a surprisingly good movie. It slightly touches on this.

Why were they being transported? According to the official of the Georgia DOC (I didn't get his name) they were being transported to a "Diagnostic Facility," he stated that that facility was a "hub" to which inmates are transported before taking them elsewhere.
The Georgia DOC guy said the two inmates did not know in advance when they were going to be transported.
Also, a correction has been placed on the ABC News site, to the effect that the weapons are 9mm not .40 cal (I don't think there's any substantial difference).

LWOP? Why not DS or LISC?

Seems to me that a LWOP prisoner, deemed a “monster” by the prosecutor, should be kept where he is. Or given special transport, like in an armored car, in a straight jacked, wrapped in chains.
Seems like they were treating him like some kind of prisoner day laborer.
