If Hodgkinson was 66, wouldn't he be eligible for both Social Security and Medicare? His response is bizarre. (I couldn't keep either my insurance or my doctor with Obamacare. Like most, I dealt with the problem, I didn't go into a psychotic rage.)

We will find out that he was retired and under Social Security. That is IF he paid taxes. If you dont pay taxes under your employment-and he was self employed, you cant collect for those years.
