Does the FCC have the power to prosecute CNN, Maddow, etc., for inciting violence to the point where rthey can be given tough punishment? I don’t mean a wimpy FCC fine; I’m talking people in prison - especially if Scalise dies.

I expect the FBI might be that organization, but they’ve become the enemy themselves. Can’t count on them.

The FCC enforces terms and conditions contained in the broadcasting license. For example, not adviserting tobacco or inciting political violence.
The FCC has the power to pull or suspend licenses.
