I thought the same thing. “Rough Night:” looks absolutely horrid. It is a great critique of feminism is the sense that feminism seems to have given a green light for women to act as horribly as men.

“But Hillary gave a strong endorsement to Wonder Woman. She likes movies about strong women who save the world. She apparently identities with Wonder Woman. Though I don’t think Hillary has special powers........”

I’ve heard that she can make a quart of gin disappear.

I also suspect her voice can kill termites, but have no evidence.

I only got introduced to Marvel thru the movies...my favorites are the three Captain Americas followed by the two Avengers. But I really liked Guardians...especially Baby Groot. That character just makes me laugh.

I don’t doubt it will do well. I just think it’s ripe to underperform and not be a breakout movie.

I installed KODI with the Exodus add-on recently.
Have yet to use it much but it appears to have like everything created by man on it...

LOL! Reminds me of the time years ago we took the kids to a popular movie. Daughter got popcorn and a large coke. Paid a HUGE amount for it.

Took it back to her seat, put it on the floor, sat down and accidentally kicked the high dollar soda over and down the floor it all went.
I don’t think she even got a sip of it first.

Not being a breakout means not doing well.

I haven’t been to a movie since American Sniper. I could care less about the crap they shovel. I watch history channel and documentaries and the Big Bang Theory reruns. The movies they produce are just total crap anymore.

There are certain advantages to being a non-nerd in this time. I never liked the Gaurdians characters in the books, so I still haven’t gotten around to the movies. One of these days I will, but I know my viewing will be colored by my previous opinion. Coming into it clean would probably be a lot more fun, but barring head injury I can’t.

It’s weird that we know how much movies cost to make, and use that as a judge against them.

Having said that....How the hell did All Eyez on Me cost $45 million? Straight Outta Compton cost that much (and was a massive hit), but that had Ice Cube and Dr. Dre heavily involved and those two know how to market and make money. Also, that story is a pretty big story.

This movie should have been more in line with Notorious that was made for $20 and grossed $45.

I watched Life over a month ago. I watched the new Aliens a week and a half ago. Since then I've watched Wonder Woman, The new Pirates of the Caribbean and last night The Mummy. Not sure which app you're using but they're way behind. 😂

I still disagree. Not to give any spoilers, but the idea of Wonder Woman fighting the Germans in the trenches and throwing over tanks was just preposterous. I would have liked to see her battle her arch-enemy Cheetah in an action-thriller setting.

Captain America, I can understand the WWII angle - the first movie was brilliantly done. But WW deserved a better storyline.
