And, while CNN aired the most ‘convenient’ 10 seconds of Comey’s testimony, they failed to mention the following interaction from earlier in which Comey confirmed under oath that he’d never been asked to end an investigation for political purposes.
Bears repeating. It's the bottom line to all this nonsense. The "charge" they are attempting to attach to him is lawful.
Even NBC acknowledged this fact back on Jan 20, 2017:
"Former intelligence officials told NBC News that President Trump would technically have the authority to order an end to the investigation, given that the intelligence agencies report directly to him."

I suspect this is Comey and Mueller or Comey leaking a false story in the hopes of getting Trump to fire Mule head. Mule head has nothing on Trump and knows it. The Russia crap is dead. He’s fishing.

But it leads to an interesting question. Bill Clinton suggested Hillary’s secretary (Betty Currie?) lie under oath. She apparently did not (one of the few honest ones in that rat’s nest) so was Clinton guilty for suggesting she lie? Or is it only a crime if she subsequently lies?

The “investigation” is like Tar Baby. You stick your hands in, you is caught, don’t make no nemmine what you means to do. You lets de Tar Baby set there and you walks on by. He cain’t do squat. Capische.
President Trump needs to announce that he is fighting back by:
1) Announcing the appointment of a special counsel to investigate Loretta Lynch’s Obstruction of Justice concerning the Clinton email scandal
2) Opening all government files and appointing a special investigator to investigate the JFK assassination....
Once no obstruction of justice is found, I hope sincerely that the Democrat party takes a massive massive hit politically...at the ballot box, fundraising, EVERYWHERE. They have been sowing the seeds of chaos and “resist” and violent insanity for months. They need to be swiftly repudiated and buried and really made to suffer for their lunacy. There needs to be consequences for what they and the media have done since election day.

Note that Trump can fire Comey buddy Mueller, but Mueller has no power to remove Trump.
But then again if Mueller is successful in trumped up charges of obstruction against the POTUS, many of the non-Trumpers in GOP congress might salivate at the chance of getting revenge for their candidate’s defeat at the hands of non-politician Trump whom they called every derogatory name in the book during primaries. Paul Ryan will retrieve articles of impeachment from his bottom drawer.
And Dershowitz’s opinion on matters of law (not politics) is far more important to me than Starr, the man who prosecuted WJC over a sexual matter instead of Whitewater, sale of secret tech to the Chinese (etc). That prosecution made a mockery of the idea that conservatives are committed to principle, especially in light of all the folks in R leadership whose sexual misdeeds were later unmasked.
