They’re going to need more Section 8 and rent control too.

Of course the big question not answered, who pays for it and how? Hawaii already and expensive place to live and visit.
Screw a wall, just set up an free ferry leaving every 15 minutes from Mexico to Hawaii without any documentaion check. This is great, but it will end tourism for Hawaii, so where will they get the money to fund the free income? Who cares, I have no care what happens to the idiots of a state that would allow such a hair-brain scheme to be enacted. They deserve what this will end up costing them. Just make darn sure they never get a federal dollar to bail the out of their stupidity.
I somehow doubt the elected, govt ‘employees’ and rich liberals will be 1st in line to ‘donate’ their own $$ to show how it’s done...
Well I hope with their generosity the federal government discontinues any federal payments to the state. Otherwise the other 56 states are paying for this lunacy.
My god.. another state running like a bunch of lemmings towards a precipice.
They will be broke soon, and demanding a bailout.
There has to be a way to stop this trend, perhaps limit or remove the inmunity of officials for act done while holding office.
Like sue the governor and members of state congress personally and jail them when the state goes bankrupt.
By removing the inmunity it allows other to sue them. Feed them to the wolves!
Hawaii already has a huge homeless population.
Many of them were dumped there from other cities or states who gave them the option of one-way plane tickets to Oahu.
Mile after mile of tent “cities” on the beaches.
Wonder if those “families” get a guaranteed income.

Maybe the state of Hawaii should become the Commonwealth of Hawaii like Puerto Rico.
I am firmly convinced that this is deadpan humor.
I hate to have to even say it.
Keep our military ports, let the rest of Hawaii become its own country again, like Gitmo in Cuba.
Let them see how fun it us to tread water.
Yeah, like on Jeopardy, I can see Puerto Rico getting that “state” card, and Hawaii giving it up.
