Actually if you’re carrying concealed you take out the card and hand it to the officer along with your driver’s license and then put both hands on the top of the steering wheel and wait for instructions.

Hate to say but Minneapolis just made the case that every CCW holder has reason to fear for their life in every encounter with law enforcement.

If you’re carrying it under a permit, chances are that an officer will already be aware of it by the time he leaves his vehicle to approach your car.
