He has to do both, but I agree with your sentiment, his focus should be the agenda, and the Witch Hunt should be a distraction. Unfortunately for the public, the press and Congress have made the With Hunt their priority, so it would be unwise to pretend that threat isn't there.
Many others disagree, but I think it actually helps him, to get the press spinning madly about things like "Trump admitted he is under investigation for obstruction" and the utterly false, oft repeated insinuation that the Holt interview amounts to Trump being relieved the Russia investigation was stopped.
Somebody is going to have egg on their face when the witch hunt is found out to truly have been a witch hunt, a coordinated effort to smear an innocent man with lies. And the more they (the press and Congress) spin up on the false accusations, the bigger the egg. There needs to be an institutional reckoning against the press.
And if Obamacare collapses on Trump’s watch, Trump will get the blame for it.
If they don’t seriously repeal Obamacare and cut taxes, the GOP will lose their majority in 18 months and Trump will be impeached.

Agreed! But I do like POTUS referring to it as a witch hunt as much as possible. that will stick!
Since obvious conflicts of interests are glaring with the Special Counsel inquisition, yet in spite of law, precedent and decency they press on... President Trump should keep his pardon “pen and phone” handy. The Swamp will go even more NUTS (if that’s possible), but his supporters will not abandon him. We all know this is a political version of the “Texas Death Match”. We must prevail or our Republic will go “bananas”... if you know what I mean.
