Great breakthrough!
Sure. I’m curious too.
Your ‘three month’ check up? Maybe all of us should be in each others prayers...
This is such good news on the cancer front!
>> could be tried with available pharmacy products having FDA approval <<
Indeed. Drugs that are already approved for some specific use can legally be prescribed by physicians in the “off label” process for another use that the FDA hasn’t approved. It’s done thousands of times per day.
For example, my own macular degeneration has been stopped in its tracks by the cancer drug, Avastin, in spite of the fact that this drug has never been approved by the FDA for use against macular degeneration.
Big Pharma will have to get Tocilizumab and Reparixin off the market because doctors can prescribe them off label. Something the companies making them will fight, while multiplying the price.
Who suggest you use Avastin for your macular degeneration?
I am pretty sure she is ethnic Indian, (Dot, not Feathers) and likely not a Muslim.
What people are capable of when they love their fellow man instead of hating him.
It's not work if it is love. And that's my 'working' theory on the Redemption process. How much damage will be repaired in this world when people simply understand and want to love one another, knowing what that actually accomplishes.
Real advances in medicine and science are the fruit of those dedicated somebodies who are devoted to what they do and thus they press at and ultimately solve 'unsolvable' problems.
Love really does heal. It's the foundational, motivational principle to all living really. Otherwise people don't even want to get up and get on with their day.
What these researchers do is the kind of love that wins, not that disease vector 'love' promoted by the culture of death.
Sri Lankan. Most likely Buddhist.
Seriously fascinating.
I think we need to prevent the tumor density, which would have better stoppage of metastasis. Researchers never want to cure cancer. They want to find something patentable. There is a slight difference. I am old fashioned; first, do no harm. Still, this is an amazing discovery.
Sounds very promising, but headline is total hype. Should say they “MAY” have unlocked key, blah blah.
Without conclusive human studies it is still just a promising hypothesis. Many “promising” tests in animal studies don’t pan out for humans. Let’s hope this turns out to be as good as advertised.
Why would you believe that?
Individual drug companies will spend billions of dollars to be the first to introduce an effective drug to stop metastasis.
Billions more will be spent to develop more effective versions to compete with the first.
slow down, slow down..... this may or may not turn out to be as important as advertised, we don’t know yet.
“Researchers say theyve unlocked key to cancer metastasis and how to slow it
Liberals are a cancer to society.”
Just sayin’.
If Obozo can get one for breathing, then she should get on for keeping others doing so...............
Yep, another huge medical breakthrough that we’ll never hear about again.
We don’t KNOW yet whether she has done anything of medical value to humans.
An exciting development, thanks!
Bingo. We have a winner. Last thing in the world they want is for some existing drug at low cost be available as part of a cure for cancer metastasizing. However, if it is a drug that has been out for about 20 years, they might be nearing the end of the patent and the drug could become generic. Who knows?
