Trump needs to shut down this farcical investigation and dare the GOP congress to do something about it.
As long as you have this group of flaccid Republicans nothing will change. Trump is the antithesis of the current Republican “leadership” and is exactly why he was elected.
Voters handed the majority to the Republicans in the House and thought, “now we can do something”. We were stymied and told we had to get the Senate. Voters handed Republicans the Senate and the tests came back proving to voters that Republicans in Congress were cowardly and not genuinely interested in enacting what voters were desperately trying to get done in Washington.
Trump comes along with a big ‘ol baseball bat and starts swinging claiming to drain the swamp. That’s what voters want.
But Republicans in Congress DO NOT want this. Republicans are just as much of the swamp as their beloved Democrat brethren. If anything, the recent shootings prove, beyond a doubt, that Republicans are more interested in chumming with Democrats and not getting “too political”, than they are in actually doing something.
The mask is off Congressional Republicans. They may talk a good game at election time, but they are no different than Democrats.

And the question to you is: Are YOU fighting back by calling your senators D.C. offices and the office of your congressman? You will probably find out very quickly if they are standing down when it comes to defending the president. That’s what happened when I called mine and I was shocked to find they were being deliberately passive! If they are Republican, tell them to get off their butt and find a microphone to defend Trump. And then call Ryan’s office and McConnell’s office and give them a piece of your mind. Call ALL of the Republicans Capitol hill offices and ask them why, if they can go on MSNBC like Jeff Flake and ABC like Mark Sanford, to blame Trump’s rhetoric, why can’t they find a microphone to fight against the Democrats and Mueller trying to impeach and harm the reputation of the elected Republican president!

Democrats and leftists believe they shouldn’t have to ever tolerate having a Republican president. If they get away with it this time, imagine how they will be emboldened!
As for me -- yeah, I'm a bit of a PITA, especially with Thelma and Louise who technically represent me in the Senate but who are in fact the very antithesis of most things I stand for. But that doesn't stop me from regularly communicating with them. (And almost every time I receive a reply thanking me for writing and for my "continued support" ... which indicates clearly that both of these angry women -- Senatorettes, if you will -- are woefully deficient in English language skills.)

Thru sensory dulling repetition, the DNC/MSM is getting the population "ok" with the idea of assassinating Trump. Example, the lack of outrage on the Shakespeare production of Julius Caesar where night after night after night Trump is assassinated. The messaging could not be more clear.

Trump has done plenty of stupid. He has more than once stepped on his manhood with his golf shoes. None of that has risen to the level of impeachment. My “yet” has to do with the nature of his personality. His Type A personality may get in the way of legal or other things that could rise to impeachment.
