Democrats do not support privatizing the air traffic control system.

It is almost like the Dems have three branches of government.

s it should be. Why? I would the lawfulness of the FAA along with ATC would come under Article 1, section 8 of the U.S. Constitution.

Just as the United States Coast Guard is responsible for allowing the flow Commerce to and from all ports and navigable waterways, the FAA in essence does the same thing only with those functions relating to the Commerce that is transported in and out of airports and the the established air routes.

IMHO. Keep in mind I am in no way shape or form a legal Authority on the Constitution. But the Coast Guard is established by the Constitution and I believe the FAA is also established by the Constitution. In that regard I therefore think that it is proper for that responsibility and authority to also belong with the government as does does the air traffic control fall under the responsibility of the government.
