Isn’t what the Gang of Eight did was obstruction of justice, in that they willfully mislead the nation? Trump merely asked, in private that the record be corrected but they lied in public.
THe ‘Gang of Eight’ referred to here (there’s more than one), is the Intelligence group: the top Republican and top Democrat in the House and Senate, and the top Republican and top Democrat in each of the House and Senate Intelligence Committees. Schumer is a member but Grassley is not a member, so Grassley could not comment until info from the Gang of Eight was made public.
Members: McConnell and Schumer, Ryan and Pelosi, Burr and Warner, and Nunes and Schiff.
