Very interesting, this statement from Sean Spicer at the White House coming late in the evening.

I heard it as a "this just in" listening to the BBC World Service on the radio.

Its official. Syria (Assad regime) is being warned by the White House (in the name of President Donald Trump) over the notion its planning a chemical attack.

There's been some tension in recent days with shells from Syria landing in Israeli controlled Golan and Israel using aircraft and mortars to retaliate.

Israel says Assad's shells are entering territory it controls.

The Assad regime says the Israelis are supporting the Al-Qaeda fighters of Jabhat al-Nusra in the Golan region.

I believe the earlier chemical attack story was a crock with "evidence" all drummed up by the jihadists backed by Saudi Arabia, the Al-Qaeda fighters imported to overthrow Assad six years ago.

This is BS of the highest order- I voted for Trump because he said he was NOT going to be the warmonger that starts false flags to depose Assad, the duly elected leader of the sovereign nation of Syria. Women, would you want to live in Syria (before Obama blew it up), or in Saudi Arabia???? This makes no sense and is criminal - these refugees have a right to be royally pissed, and our Govt’s solution is to bring them here to act out that rage - Wow!

If there is another attack, we better be dead certain it’s not a false flag event before we open fire on Assad’s army. The situation offers a perfect opportunity for ISIS or one of that plethora of rebel groups to score a military and political victory at our expense.

I think you are being too kind to the US deep state if you think it was the jihadists who trumped up the last chemical weapon false flag in Syria.

This new report is very concerning indeed. It is looking like Syria is just our latest Libya, though with a mix of interests, including the reported pipeline routings, our continuing cozying up to Saudi wealth, etc.

If the presence of ISIS in Syria is the Trump team’s excuse, where are we going to bomb a country into overthrow next—France? Sweden? Germany? No, I didn’t think so.
