Durbin’s office gave the emails to the Capitol Police. Not the FBI? Have the FBI seen the emails? If not, why not? Which agency is in charge of this investigation?

IIRC, our Clouseau inspired FBI has announced they haven’t found any ‘hate crime’ (hating Republicans) yet, in the shooter’s motive. Never mind he had a hit list of Republicans in his pocket. Maybe, just maybe, the Capitol Police will do a better job, as two of their own were shot? Or am I just delusional?
