Investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson talked to FOX News' Shannon Bream about "transactional journalism" and how "well-funded actors" with "fake accounts" on social media try to manipulate news and the way we think. Attkisson's new book The Smear: How Shady Political Operatives and Fake News Control What You See, What You Think, and How You Vote focuses on reporters and news outlets "suspending the normal rules of journalism" that circulate news to make you think this is what everyone else is thinking.

It’s only workable because thanks to the NEA, American voters have had the natural powers of discernment bred out of them.
Now most of them mare nothing but consumers and won’t doubt or challenge anything the MSM shoves under their noses

What's your real issue with Sean?
I’ve known this for years. Many of the identities on twitter and Facebook don’t exist. A handful of operatives create thousands of fake identities. These are used to create a phony massive opposition to anyone who threatens some particular interest. Drug companies, political activists, charlatans of all stripes play this game.
He has a great guest on an constantly interrupts at hot topic point and changes the meaning of what the guest is trying to say. He has gotten much worse over the last few months.
It used to be he would ask a question in such a way as to answer it before the person he asked to answer has no point left.
Having said that he is still the most ferocious Trump supporter on TV so 👍
I agree with him on the issues, but he’s a horrible interviewer, interrupting his guests, talking over them, and not listening to them. Many’s the time I’ve been listening to one of his guests start to give info that I want to hear, only to have Sean butt in.
I also don’t like the stupid banter with Linda and the other staff people.
He’s also gotten into the habit of playing a lot more sound bite collages that waste time (or from his perspective, help fill up the time!).
Other than that, I like him :^)
