David, David, David....

Know ye not that we have rejected your “normality” and substituted our own?

Go to the archives and look at the cartoons and editorials that were published about Lincoln, Hoover, Eisenhower or Nixon. Politics is a full contact blood sport. If you have a thin skin don’t play.

“Do The Norms That Governed Politics Reestablish After Trump, Or Are We Here Forever?”

I hope we are not here forever but I also do not want to go back to media as usual. Agenda driven news, blatant unfairness, double standards of behavior, slander against political opponents, etc.

Did David Brooks wring his hands in woe, about how the president was coarsening the tone of politics, when Barack Obama said this?

"Republicans can come along for the ride, but they've gotta sit in the back of the bus."

Somehow, I doubt it.'Normal' for Democrats is when they're allowed to trample all over the other side with no push-back, resistance, or dissent.

According to “conservatives” like Brooks, the loss of “civility” has nothing to do with the murder of 60 million babies, Muslim invasion, Mexican invasion, galloping socialism, Cultural Marxism, etc.

Yeah, none of that ‘high tech’ stuff could be related to government... Nope, they can’t influence things so DC get the ‘clean’ and wealthy companies...

What “norms” would that be?

A lying media?

A faithless and lying Republican and Democrat party who’s only constituency is the Cocktail Crowd?

Special interest running the Government?

I don’t want those “norms”.

Methinks anything resembling the Regan years is the norm. Unfortunately people elected a buffoon not once but twice, who perverted the norm

Yup, we give most presidents 2 terms, and then hand it over to the other side. Lather, rinse, repeat, that’s American politics in a nutshell.

70% of the world’s Internet traffic traveled through data centers in Loudoun County in 2013, now it’s about 75%. no doubt some of the gov stuff is here too.

Under the perversion/deviance/abortion/general-lunacy of the LIB/DIM/RINO “leaders” I say a return to “normal” is occurring under President Trump. Screw those losers.
