Gov. Chris Christie and the Democrat-led Legislature planned to return to work Saturday to try to resolve the shutdown, because in the hours, days, weeks, months previously they cant get shiite done to create a balanced budget? Hope those inept tasbards have to work through July 4th too.

Even the highest tax rate in the nation isn’t enough to support a socialist state.

Among those affected were a group of Cub Scouts forced to leave a state park campsite and people trying to obtain or renew documents from the state motor vehicle commission, among the agencies closed by the shutdown. Is DMV normally open on Saturday in NJ?

Scary stuff on all States who have squandered citizens’ monies:
http://www.msn.com/en-us/money/retirement/america%e2%80%99s-pension-bomb-illinois-is-just-the-start/ar-BBDvFH7?li=BBnbfcL&ocid=HPCDHP
Weve been hearing it for years: Americas public pensions are a ticking time bomb.
Well, at long last, the state of Illinois is about to expose just how big this blowup could be.
As of the 2015 fiscal year, Illinois had promised its employees $199 billion in retirement benefits. Right now, its $119.1 billion short.
That gap lies at the center of a years-in-the-making fiscal mess thats threatening to drop the states credit rating to junk-bond status.
But Illinois is hardly alone. Connecticut and New Jerseystates that, to most of the world, seem like oases of prosperityare under growing financial strain, too.
Weve ranked the states by the size of their funding gap.
The lower the funding ratio, the more money the state has to come up with to meet its pension obligations.
FIND YOUR STATE ON THE CHART.

“New Jerseyans were feeling the impact as a state government shutdown...”
Are you sure? Cuz most of them are here at the Outer Banks checking in.
