In Christianity there is the concept of a Just War read about it.
I understand the difference between killing and murder. I understand what war is and I understand that people are talking about dropping bombs on houses with little kids in them. You don’t have to change my mind you probably ought to start with Jesus.

I’ve never met a child that needed to be extinguished. I’ve never read about the death of a child that should be celebrated. I’ve met a lot of children that needed to be saved both literally and spiritually. I have met children that needed to be stopped and I have met people that had to stop them but I have never met one that felt good about it and I hope I never do. This situation reminds me of all the armchair generals here on freerepublic that think war with North Korea would be a weekend event. If people errase the differences between us and them, well you can imagine , I’d hope.

There’s a big difference between an arm chair generals whims and the command of God. I have yet to see any command from God that says to go kill all those kids. I have however seen standing orders from the big man and his son to bring them to the light. Do us all a favor and don’t quote the Bible to justify blowing up women and children sleeping in their beds, really.
I found Jesus years ago, I also did the Tet Offensive and saw women and children murdered because of their political opinions.
A stronger and more proactive military tactic may have saved their lives. Imagine going in to an ARVIN compound and seeing a couple of hundred women and children murdered by their liberators.

I would think given your experience and religious views you too would understand it is not OK to blow these people up for being in the wrong house at the wrong time .
