I also believe that We the People need to stand up to our local governments and take back our right to celebrate the 4th of July, our Independence Day, the way we choose, including with fireworks, public prayers, parades, etc. and not allow them to tax us to "provide us with city sponsored music programs including fireworks," that we pay for!

They then declare all fireworks illegal inside our own city limits!

Local government is controlled by the people who elect their representatives. If you don’t like what the majority of the people through the representatives in your locale favor, then you can start a petition, referendum, or do some research and move to another locale where the folks and you are more in tune. That’s one of the beauties of America.
