It is common knowledge that climate change exists. The evidence exists of past ice ages (plural), core samples, etc... is anyone disputing that the earth has shifts in climate? I would think not.
The deception is in the taxation and profiteering involved present day. The deception exists with false data collected from far less than optimally placed sensors. The deception is an almost complete disregard of solar phenomenon and studies which clearly demonstrate that out solar system is, in fact warming up, perhaps induced by our sun and cycles which are being astutely observed for the first time in recorded history.
Earth is a dynamic planet. These dynamics occur at very slow increments. What astounds is the blame game for natural occurring cycles and the pilfering of taxpayer dollars to further the sham.
For the good of science, scientists need to make plain the fleecing and the flawed data which science is clinging to.
Climate change is NOT an enterprise or a manifesto! It is a science and deserves to be regarded as such.
Just prior to Acid Rain, the cry was global cooling. going so far as to making a really bad movie back in the 70’s.

I’m going to have to make a cut and paste about this.
OK, I’m many things including a mathematician, engineer, and physicist.
Short version: man made CO2 has NO IMPACT on climate.
Why? CO2 absorbs heat energy (infrared radiation or IR) in only two narrow frequencies. That’s its absorption spectra.
In those frequencies, the CO2 in the atmosphere absorbs 100% of all available IR radiated from the ground in the first 100m or so. Thus, if you increased CO2 by 1,000%, NO MORE IR (HEAT) WOULD BE ABSORBED. The ground may get a little hotter, but the overall climate would not be affected. Also, there is this thing called “wind” that churns the air, so even the ground temperature probably would not be affected.
Any remotely skilled physicist understands this, which why tens of thousands have signed the petition saying AGW is bunk.
But many people, esp. journolists (sp intentional) wouldn’t know what an absorption spectra is if the their lives pendened on knowing.
PS CO2 is also called “plant food” and essential to the life of us CARBON BASED life forms. Sheesh.
