(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)

The problem with Bush (W) was that he was a member of a crime family. His idea of American “greatness” was bomb, bomb, bomb, and throw the borders open.
Nothing Bush said in speeches should be taken seriously.

I think that needs a little qualification, because George W. Bush was profoundly strong in the idea that America represents the solution to the worlds problem as opposed to the popular belief around the world (in worldwide leftist circles) that America is the problem. I'm not reading beyond this.
George W Bush is a Globalist.
He has contempt for the things flyover country believe.

In reviewing President Trump's visit and speech in Poland today, I was reminded of Russell Kirk's essay,
The Common Heritage of Europe and America, available for reading
hereKirk's words from that essay may be appropriate here on this day:
"The patrimony of a civilization can be lost at the very moment of that civilizations material triumph. In any culture worthy of the name, men must be something better than the flies of a summer; generation must link with generation. Some men among us are doing whatever is in their power to preserve and reinvigorate our common heritage. This is not a work that can be accomplished through positive law or the creation of international commissions. Yet if a people forget the ashes of their fathers and the temples of their gods, the consequences soon will be felt in the laws and in international affairs. Without cultural community between America and Europe, there is little point in political alliance."

On Fox All Star Panels few nights ago I heard Steve Hays, notable Never Trumper, say again and again and again that Trump retweeting the CNN GIF was not “normal” ... said to my wife: “this is operant conditioning at work” to try to eventual separate Trump from his base because he is simply not “normal”

Now, you want some evidence of this? How many of you grew up reading The Sporting News? Well, I know you didnt, Dawn. Basically it was a baseball magazine. Yeah, yeah. It was published in St. Louis by the Spink family, C. C. Johnson Spink, C. C. Edward Spink, Z. Z. C. Johnson Spink, and a whole bunch of other Spinks. And it was for the longest time a baseball Bible. It still exists, but its nowhere near what it used to be.
Not to mention Leon Spinks, the black sheep of the family?
