I suppose that’s why divorced and remarried straight Catholics get so riled-up about being barred from the Eucharist.

Actually, the clerical gays are the guys who are pushing open communion for all. They support people who opt for an adulterous second marriage while a valid first marriage still exists, because they basically do not believe in the existence of an objective Moral Law.
