Yes, I've heard that. If true, then it leads immediately to the conclusion that the core of US Foreign Policy then is simply about supporting the primacy of the US Dollar. If that's the case then, who is really running our country?

This is the fundamental question.
We still are better off with Trump given the alternative, but we must consider the possibility that he cannot “drain the swamp” as he calls it ... the swamp is too big.
Perhaps the only thing that can drain the swamp is financial/social collapse. It is a distinct possibility.
Then, our pearl clutchers, who suffer from severe Stockholm Syndrome, whenever any fake news appears, scream, twirl and pass out while repeating Oh No!
