To those who grew up after the WWII and the Cold War, it was unthinkable to do business or even visit Communist Russia! If I could point to the biggest moral and strategic error of the 20th Century, it was treating Mao's China as anything other than a sworn enemy. The collapse of moral standards, love of the Founders’ moral compass, enabled the pragmatic Nixon to invite a mortal enemy into our nation. It only took one generation and a couple of grifters to begin selling the rope which Nixon dangled in front of our enemy.
You said a lot of truth, there!
Excellent memory, too.

This is very, very old news! Remember when Bill Clinton fought for Red China to take over CAs Long Beach Harbor so Chinese owned shipping co. Cosco could unload their containers sans inspection. Has anyone wondered how many sleepers there are and how many unregistered weapons enter in containers? It is mindboggling. Your friendly neighbor who has lived in America for 25 years, graduated from Stanford, sent his kids to our schools, he or his wife might be agents. This has been going on since Kissinger (the sleeper cell from Metternich’s time) whispered in Nixon’s ear about opening China. Sure, Nixon’s Price and Wage Controls were a disaster. Next step, cheap slave labor and goods from Red China.
