Possibly ABC knows how corrupt it is for Mueller to hire all dems or Trump haters for his staff and then suggest there will be anything fair at all about his investigation.

As slimy and dishonest as Schiff is, the media had to use him versus someone like Kaine babbling about treason. They are walking that back. Schiff is forced to talk about Trump's asking Russia for the 33k emails (it was a joke, but the media lost their sense of humor long ago) because that is all he's got. He says Trump Jr is a criminal but the only crime he can name is solicitation of a foreign campaign contribution.
In an objective evaluation, the approach from the Russians was an offer, but Trump Jr did not solicit. Schiff keeps hinting about the classified briefings he was privy to, but listening to him carefully on C-SPAN I have to conclude there was nothing extra in those briefings.
Schiff is evil and shameless. For a lawyer, he is extremely careless and loose with his choice of words and also with his sources. Recall that he relied upon the debunked Steele dossier during that one hearing to describe all of Trump’s “collusion crimes”?
