As I understand it, a clot is something inside a vein that restricts blood flow. If the blood cannot pass a clot it causes a stroke. I can’t imagine a 2 inch clot not causing a stroke. How could blood pass?

They are calling it a clot. Tumors can become necrotic and look like a bloody mass, similar to a clot. That is why they are awaiting pathology results.
