. . . both Kaepernick and Goetsch have the right to express their opinions through their actions and words. But they have the obligation to recall that this and other rights came at great expense in blood and treasure. Men, and women, have died or been maimed for life for their right to be obnoxious and insensitive to the heroic sacrifice of others.

Kaepernick does not care about treasure, as he demonstrated when he single-handed took down the NFL's ratings. Goetsch, as a Chicago Tribune writer, does not care about blood - look at how indifferent they are to Chicago's daily violence except as it supports their far-left political agenda. They are free to say and do what they wish, and we are free to make sure not one cent of our money goes to the NFL or the Tribune when they do so.

I can't say that I dislike the national anthem, because it has some really good things in it, particularly the last verse, which almost no one knows. That said, I really prefer America the Beautiful.
