He's not my top choice, but seriously, it's not like he's the new ATF Director or have any actual power to influence policy. He'll run the Whitehouse Press Office. Basically just answering questions and just parroting what Trump tells him to say.

There are two schools of thought on him.

He is over qualified for this job so perhaps he is gunning for a bigger position

Another relates to an issue with taxes on a company he recently sold and how this position saves him money via certain acts he can do.
