Which is typical PC bullsh!t of the sort you see on agenda driven television programming such as The Closer.
It's always the boyfriend.
"Approximately one-third of the victims were between the ages of 18 and 29, and most were black or Hispanic, the investigators found."
That stat right there tells you that husbands are not the murderers -- because black and Hispanic females don't marry their "intimate partners."
These studies have been analyzed over and over again, and invariably when husbands are removed, there is barely a noticeable blip in the stats (and this remains true if you include white females and Asians.)
CDC wants you to take everything away from these numbers except the truth: The problem isn't guns, it isn't poor impulse control, it isn't failure to properly assess the violent tendencies of your boyfriend, it isn't a lack of police or social worker training. There is one simple solution: Don't open your legs for a man who won't marry you, or isn't married to you.
