Your theory might explain why CIA Director Mike Pompeo has been so vocal in slamming WikiLeaks as a “hostile intelligence service abetted by Russia”. He has also been denouncing Julian Assange as a fraud, a liar etc.

It's known as disinformation.You mix in a little bit of truth but the overall premise,Trump colludes with Putin, is false.Another version of fake news.
To get away with somehitg like this it has to be done by a group with massive power, pull,currency and standing.They have to have people positioned everywhere to get stuff like this done.The CIA does and has all that and more.
If you want another example of how all this works just look at what was done in Libya.
Soros decided that a gold backed dinar which Qdaffi was planning to do was bad for his interests.
He called in his army of criminals beginning with hill/bama and they united the UN,Nato,all of Eurpoe and led by the CIA they dropped more bombs on Libya than in all of WWII destroying the country in a few years.
They hired 250k terror types,paid them well and killed 600k people.THe only hope for Libya these days are the ancient tribes that still exist.Hopes are they can take back the country from the terror types who got the spoils of war.
The media hype was well coordinated by the CIA much like we see with Trump. It's a well coordinated op designed to sway public opinion and create their own "truth" out of a huge set of lies.
