Mika Brzezinski was doing her best on today’s Morning Joe to undermine the just-released statement by Jared Kushner on his dealings with the Russians. But when Mika tried to tee up former FBI agent Clint Watts to take a shot at the statement, she got what must have come as an unpleasant surprise.
Mika put it to Watts that the Kushner statement, rather than explaining away dealings with the Russians, “raise[s] questions.” But instead of taking Mika’s hint, Watts replied:
“I think Kushner’s statement is good. That we get this sort of transparency. And I believe his account of things.”

Someone in that meeting from the russian side said they..I guess he meant Jr and company. ..couldn’t wait for the meeting to end.
Oh..just saw where kushner admits that he did ask about a back channel. So ambassador spy was telling truth in intercepted comm..which means...he may have been telling truth about Sessions
Looks to me like lawyer is trying to strike a difference between back channel and “secret back channel”
So here is the gist of kushners claim...
russia wanted to evade US Intelligence with a secure line at trump tower. This is an understandable request on their behalf because why would they want everyone knowing their military business
Kushner said there was no such line.
Here is the stupid part...kushner then suggests using russian embassy skif. As I said when this first came out..no way would russia allow that.

This is a plausible story. Idiotic..but plausible.
His lawyer is trying to define secret back channel as something else..but kushner did ask for a secret back channel at the embassy
