Tough. The Army exists to fight, not conduct Left Wing social experiments.

"For the President to deny an able-bodied, fully qualified person the inherent right to raise their right hand and serve their country, potentially giving their own life for our freedoms, is doing this country an injustice," Ireland says. Jeffrey Dahmer and Charles Manson may have been "able-bodied, fully qualified" people at one time. Does that mean it would have been a good idea to commission them as officers in the U.S. military?

This insane freak is a walking “injustice” to both the military service and the American people. So, you want to “give your life for your country,” sweetie? OK, pull out your 45 ACP, and eat a bullet. Problem solved - both yours and ours.

Wait, you have a RIGHT to serve in the military?
What about people in wheelchairs? What about fat people who can’t walk a mile? What about 70 year old women? What about 13 year old kids? Waaaaaaaah about THEIR rights?

You need to be able-minded as well and trans people are mentally disturbed according to the medical profession.

There’s a right to raise your hand and serve your country?
Really?
Where might that be found?
Tell that to all the folks rejected for service by the military every year.

How can we defend our country without transgenders? It shouldn’t be possible. Throughout human history it has been the transgenders who have always been the strongest, bravest fighters, putting country before their selfish desires.... Wait. No.

I doubt that there are 15,500 transgenders——another pulled out of the air figure,I’ll bet.

I challenge the "able bodied fully qualified" description. These freaks will constantly require hormone replacement regardless of where or how they are deployed. Also some having transitional surgery would not be able to deploy.
Anyone who intentionally mutilates themself by shooting themself in the foot or cutting off their trigger finger would be court martialed. Anyone intentionally mutilating themself through sex transition surgery would receive pay and benefits and a combat zone waiver or nice cushy REMF job. Go figure...

Serving in the military is not a right, its a privilege. Where in the Constitution or Bill of Rights does it say that military service is a right?

Ireland was previously profiled alongside his now-wife, Laila Villanueva, in a 2015 New York Times Op-ed documentary. Villanueva, 31, is also a transgender soldier. We have here a girl and a guy who think they are a guy and a girl--and they figure the US government should cater to their madness because the NyTimes made a big deal of it.

A point in his favor: He did volunteer to be the first tranny to be discharged.

For the President to deny an able-bodied, fully qualified person the inherent right to raise their right hand and serve their country, potentially giving their own life for our freedoms, is doing this country an injustice, Ireland says.A person with gender confusion is NOT able-bodied or fully qualified. Gender confusion is a treatable mental disorder, attendant with tremendous medical costs and disruption.
Additional medical costs and time lost in disruptions takes away resources needed for combat readiness, and more.

Had a “transgendered” soldier been identified in my unit in the field in Vietnam, I would have hoped the thing be pulled as rapidly as possible for its own, and the sake of all concerned...including its advantage to the enemy.
