Let me get this straight. Climeworks removes CO2 from the air, and then sells it to be re-used. The gas undoubtedly gets right back in the air in short order.

Quite insane. Especially when the article notes they sell it at a loss. This sounds like something Kramer would have come up with on the Seinfeld show. ;-)
