68 years for exercising peaceful protest against the government. (And yes, I am well aware that if they were not armed, it would not have been peaceful.)
Trump would send a VERY clear message to the judiciary by simply commuting the sentence to time served. There is a place for rule of law and protest to coexist.
hell with commuting - pardon him. Commuting will keep the conviction on the books - pardon wipes it clean
