Yes to a degree it’s the NIMBYs’’ but it is also a question of an aging power grid/infrastructure and rapid, virtually unchecked development that is straining the existing system. I live in New Jersey sorry to say. Here the political power structure is really just a professional criminal class only interested in levying and collecting tax revenue and staying in power.
