I believe that due to Summer Time (1 hour ahead of “regular time”) the difference to GMT (”absolute time”) is currently 2 hours. That would make it fit.
A recent show on the PBS series ‘Frontline’, a show and station I usually avoid with vigor, featured a story about the official response in Europe to terrorists and mass killings. The show interviewed anti-terrorism experts from France and Belgium. It was the usual ‘we did what we could’ rhetoric but my visceral, emotion response stunned me. I couldn’t stop thinking “Gee, you mean they really give a damn?” I always assumed they just considered mass slaughter an acceptable consequence to unregulated immigration. The fact that they actually cared about the bloodshed suprised me. And the next thought was, “why in the hell don’t they seriously address the causes?”
That said, it should've been the parliament (which ultimately determines who the chancellor is) that should've kicked Merkel out of office as soon as she uttered her idiotic "all are welcome" nonsense.
Lastly, don't throw stones after two full terms of Obama...
