One person was killed and three others injured in a shooting at the Grey nightclub in the German city of Konstanz in the early hours of Sunday, the German police said in a statement. The gunman was shot dead by police in an exchange of fire that has also wounded a policeman. . "Many guests had left the building panic stricken or were hiding when the shots were fired," the statement said. The gunman was a 34-year-old Iraqi who has lived in Germany for a long time, Fritz Bezikofer from the Konstanz police told CNN.

"According to our investigations this is not terror-related, unless the gunman radicalized himself within the last three days," Bezikofer said. "At this moment we believe that he may have had alternative motives," Bezikofer added, without providing further details.

No doubt a gun free zone. Perp was a long time resident Iraqi with no ties to terrorism unless it happened in the last three days. Srsly? Guess the authorities will be looking for motives for a long time.

Just a domestic dispute and he just happens to have an AK-47 at home to settle it,but he’s not a terrorist with a plan?

The Islamic culture makes murder okay in advance. Murder is pre-approved in the Quran. The culture itself is the problem; not radicalization.

Radicalization is a rationalization so we don’t have to deal with the reality that every Muslim is a potential killer 24/7/365.

Ah, Lieutenant Columbo. An icon of civilization from a bygone era during which the West hadn’t yet decided to commit suicide on the altar of Islam.

Once the info appeared in German language media, CNN probably figured that they couldn’t fail to mention it. They did bury the lead, however.

People getting shot in chiraq ain’t newsworthy anymore. Of course moose limbs killing folks in Gerministan probably shouldn’t be newsworthy any more either.
